Rates are changing every week and sometimes more often than that. We have many loan officers to help you pick the lender of your choice. I reccomend searching for several before you decide. The products are often simalar. You need a loan officer to search for the best deal for you and apply for several to see which one gets you the best rate and conditions that can be met.

I also think you have to connect with your loan officer. Some have a lot more time to work with you. Some have less personality but a lot more experience. Others are burnt out and dont seem to care. Some are excited but don't have the knowledge to keep it together all the way to the end.

I do reccomend you use a local loan officer. They have more understanding of the unique properties and they have local appraisers that they work with on a regular basis to make sure it is going to get done in a timely matter with local knowledge of value of location and other factors that are influential in determining value.

I do not reccomend an ON LINE Loan as they can fall apart and no one with a real face can be found to help or be accountable. They don't have a word of mouth business as much as the local guy. There is less for them to loose if they don't treat you right.
